		<description>Hi,

I am looking for suggestions. I have a nephew that is being raised by an aunt and uncle. He is five and his mother had some issues that she couldn't take care of him and the dad has never been in the picture. I want to find him so books that either represent the non traditional family structure, or just don't get into parents. He sees his mom occasionally, but she is unreliable. His first day of kindergarten, the teacher read a book about a kid missing his mom, but gives the message that he gets to see her at the end of the day. This was, needless to say, upsetting for him. Any suggestions would be incredibly appreciated.

Thanks!
