I totally agree, Martha can be exasperating with her perfectionism although she has alot of fantastic ideas, she also has the craft room and all the bells and whistles to go with it. I would probably be alot more craftier at her house than my small house. My gardens would look alot better with a gardner and who has time to groom those pets like she does. That said I do admire her and sometimes watch her show although the perky Rachel Ray is more my style and lately I've been watching her instead. I haven't read any of her magazines although she shamlessly plugs them and her radio station everyday but to me Martha is best sampled in small doses. I am more of a cook that doesn't do the precise measuring and sifting and I think my cooking is pretty good, I think that her style requires alot of patience and I could always use more of that.

I love to do crafts in my spare time, but I however do have to agree with you, on her going overboard sometimes. I usually try to avoid watching her show, but once in a blue moon, she will have something on that catches my when channel surfing. Will have to check out her 10/06 issue. Thank you!
