I'm with you- I find bento so alluring, and yet so out of reach. I'm lucky I can get a pb/j in the lunch box in the am! I have sent my kids with bento-esq lunches on occasion, but of the very easy variety.

There are a few Hello Kitty boxes on <a href="http://www.sugarcharms.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=50_54&zenid=7422ab4fa04ead70e295fcc97c150574" rel="nofollow">this site</a>
I do enjoy looking at what other folks pack though, on flickr and other blogs. http://lunchinabox.net/ is a nice site.

My eight year old son loves nigiri sushi, and I'd love to send him an authentic bento box for lunch--but that's not really feasible considering said lunch will fester for three hours in an unrefrigerated locker.

And don't be too impressed by his eating habits; the only vegetables he'll touch are corn and raw carrots.
