Check out the 2007 Cybils Book Awards

I was a judge for the 2006 Cybils and they’re continuing the tradition this year with the 2007 Cybils awards. Once again, a terrific selection of books.(The widget below from SmartLinks shows just the nonfiction picture books. The other categories are Fantasy and Science Fiction, Fiction Picture Books, Graphic Novels, Middle Grade Fiction, Non-fiction: Middle Grade and Young Adult, Poetry, and Young Adult Fiction.) Can’t wait until February 14 for them to announce the winners.

I love this! First, how cool it is that you were a judge for this last year. Really cool. Second, I just love the awards period because its a nice way to get good book selections for my FIVE kids. LOL
They are all avid readers and they enjoy reading award winning books, and if they are nominated, sometimes they will read a few and choose their favorites. Looks like we better get cracking before we find out who won. LOL (Of course I can hide that info from them until they’ve read a few!)
