Sleeping Beauty Week: Princess Tea Party punch and princess books
I’d be remiss if I didn’t include a punch recipe for the Sleeping Beauty Princess Tea party as well as a list of recommended Sleeping Beauty books.
Strawberry Tea Punch
From Come to Tea: Fun Tea Party Themes, Recipes, Crafts, Games, Etiquette and More
Makes 16 half-cup servings
Ingredients:
- 8 cups decaffeinated tea, cooled (an herbal tea like mint or orange could be nice)
- 12 oz. frozen lemonade concentrate – melted, but still icy
- 16 oz. frozen strawberries in syrup – melted, but sill icy
Directions:
- Make the tea and cool it. (May want to do the evening before the party to let it refrigerate over night.)
- Stir the lemonade and strawberries into the cooled tea.
- Chill and serve.
Usborne’s Sleeping Beauty books
There are many, many versions of Sleeping Beauty books for children, so I decided just to feature the wonderful ones from Usborne Books.
Sleeping Beauty – chapter book for ages seven years and up- Sleeping Beauty Sticker Book – for ages four and up. Comes with over 50 reward stickers and a puzzle book with a rebus puzzle activity running throughout the book where stickers replace words in the story.
- Sleeping Beauty – for ages three and up, this version is an Accelerated Reader title.
- Sleeping Beauty Look and Say – look and say book for children two years and up.
And that wraps up our Sleeping Beauty week. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
