Books
Many but not all of my review copies come from publishers and authors. Some books I buy myself. Other books I borrow from the library.
No publishers or authors get preferential treatment for their books just because they send me a freebie or two. If I don’t like a book, either I don’t waste my time reviewing it – or I feel so ticked off about the schlock posing as children’s lit that I feel compelled to share my outrage with my readers.
Most review copies end up in my children’s book collections, are donated to their school library, or are given to their teachers or other school staff. Sometimes I donate them our local county library or their book sale.

Recipes
I wish I had the time to make and take photos all the recipes I post. That’s just impossible timewise. Instead, I make sure to add my own commentary by giving my readers preparation tips and suggestions.
If I post a recipe and/or a picture I make sure to give credit to the author/photographer/blogger. If I have used your recipe and/or photo in a way you feel violates your copyright, please email me and I will immediately pull the content or picture.
