How exciting, A Readable Feast was nominated for Best Educational Blog! Take a minute and vote for me!
UPDATE ONE: Well, I thought I was nominated. I had even received a few votes. But when I went to check today I saw my site was removed and possibly banned. I’ve contacted Blogger’s Choice Awards to find out why and will update this post if and when I find out why.
UPDATE TWO: I was accidentally removed and have been reinstated. You may need to place your vote again however.

Little Fun; Little Learning is blogged by Revka, a homeschooling, married SAHM to three girls. (She also blogs at The Porch Light.)
Revka says she’s always on the lookout for fun activities and educational ideas "the littles," kids ages 0-5. At Little Fun; Little Learning she shares complete on-site projects/ideas and links to valuable resources.
No only does she write about fun crafts like Hand Print Sheep, but she gives you very detailed instructions and ideas on how to combine the craft with other activities. She also highlights books, writing activities, and ways to teach children about money.
Revka’s only been blogging at Little Fun; Little Learning since January 8. I predict her site will be a great resource for parents of little ones, not just homeschoolers. Check it out!

This month I’m the host of Here in the Bonny Glen’s Carnival of Children’s Literature.
This month’s theme is “What are you thankful for in children’s literature?”
It could be a specific children’s book that you read as a child, an author you admire, a short story you read in school, or a fictional character that inspired you. You can be thankful for something trivial – “Reading this book with my children was a pleasant to spend an afternoon.” Or more serious – “This book changed by life!”
You have by November 20 to write your post (submit it here). I will post a recap of all the submissions here at A Readable Feast on Thanksgiving Day.
Now get writing!
