What’s wrong is our entire concept of success. The harsh truth is that it’s not suppose to come easily. Whether you are losing weight or amassing a fortune, it takes hard work and commitment. There, I told you the only thing that makes sense. There is no magic bullet, potion or cure for great relationships, saving for retirement, or looking better. I watch the other male and female members who look terrific because they put in their gym time like we do. That is why they look the way they do. I’ll also bet they watch what they eat as well. After all, why jeopardize all that time and trouble in the workouts?

#5: Don’t skip meals. There is consistent evidence that people who skip meals, especially breakfast, are more likely to be overweight. Eat a healthy breakfast within one hour of getting up. Avoid fast food breakfast meals – they are loaded with fat, sugar, sodium and calories. Pack healthy snacks like nuts, dried fruit and cheese sticks when you know it will be difficult to stop for food during the day.

The Holidays and winter have a way of “adding inches” or help you “retain water” during this season! You look forward to looking your best. Unfortunately, your schedule is brim-full of late night parties. And that means flowing cocktails and “I lost count” volume of fingerfoods. So you try on that rockstar skinny jeans, and you suddenly realized that you need to loose 10 pounds – fast! So the quick solution: Crash diet!?

Smart food choices on a daily basis will help you look and feel your best. If you are exercising and making the wrong food choices your body will still not give you the energy you are looking for. Even the act of exercising starts with good nutrition. Muscles cannot function properly without being fed properly; so the basics of women’s health must start with good nutrition.
