I Do Reviews!

Published by Anne-Marie

New here? Then you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I’d love to review your:

  • parenting, child or education related service or business
  • blog or website
  • book
  • CD
  • DVD
  • or anything else you think parents, women, children, homeschoolers, and educators might be interested in

Two ways to do it - paid and free

You can pay me directly for a review via PayPal.

Acceptance Mark

  • Cost: $25 per review
  • What you get: One post reviewing your site, blog, product, book, etc. - minimum 200 words.
  • Benefits: The article is focused on your product/site. You will receive in-text links, which will provide the maximum value in exposure and SEO benefits.
  • Cross-blog marketing: I own or write for many blogs (see The Write Spot or my sidebar for a listing). If I think your product is of interest to my readers on those blogs, I will promote the review and link to it on my other site(s). However, I will not publish the review in several places because duplicate identical postings bring down search engine listings.

Why pay?

  • You’ll get your product, business, service or site reviewed within 72 hours (3 business days) of receiving your product. (If it’s a book, I will take the time to read a few chapters before writing a paid review.)
  • My Readable Feast gets decent traffic from parents, women, homeschoolers, book bloggers, and educators.
  • The power of a review post. On my cooking blog, This Mama Cooks! On a Diet I did a short review of Cutting Edge Cake Design, a small business owned by a local mom. Since then Susan has been getting business from all over the Denver metro area just from people finding the review via Google searches. If it wasn’t for my review, her new customers would not have found her since she doesn’t advertise and relies on word of mouth.

Caveats

  • Remember, just because you pay doesn’t mean a positive review. I try to be fair and honest in my reviews even if the product or site has flaws. See this post over at This Mama Cooks! On a Diet as an example. I believe in the power of positive and constructive criticism and won’t put your product down just for the thrill of it.
  • All paid reviews are identified as sponsored posts. Here’s a sample (first page and second page of AskPatty.com paid review).

Want if I don’t want to pay?

  • That’s fine. Contact me and pitch your product.
  • However, if I’m swamped - and I usually am - it may take awhile to review your product.
  • I only write positive reviews if I like your product, not just because you send me free goodies.

Email me at readablefeast at gmail dot com to pitch your product and I’ll send you my mailing information if I’m interested.

For more information on my philosophy about being “paid to post,” see My Sponsored Post and Review Policies at my freelance business blog, The Write Spot.
